The capital of Slovenia - Ljubljana is situated at the banks of the Ljubljanica river. Its architecture, a series of charming streets and an impressive tranquility conquer every visitor. It's a city made to human scale. Ljubljana preserved Roman ruins, medieval castle, Baroque and Art Nouveau style buildings. We will visit the famous three bridges, Market, Dragon Bridge, Prešeren Square, the baroque fountain of Robba, St. Nicholas Cathedral, Ljubljana Castle and other treasures of the city.
Continuation to Bled, place of a great natural beauty, surrounded by the Alps and well known for its lake, thermal waters and moderate climate. It has the only natural island in Slovenia with the church of the Assumption. To get there we will use the local wooden boat - pletna. The church on the island has a wishing bell. Make a wish and your dream will come true. For sure there is no better place for dreaming. It is worth visiting the 11th century Bled Castle on the 130 m high cliff. After the tour, we will take a break for a coffee by the lake and taste the 'kremšnita' vanilla-custard-and-cream cake, one of the best known Slovenian desserts. Free time for lunch. Return to Zagreb.
